GelEnz: a step change in bio-based materials

Welcome to GelEnz

Waste, food waste, is a societal problem with few viable solutions. Waste is a limitless and cheap resource which is under-utilised by industry. GelEnz is developing a process to unlock the use of starch and nano-cellulose fibres to create a gel. This gel is of interest to commercial industries as a sustainable alternative for ingredients currently used in manufacturing.

Using a GelEnz product could assist in providing ethical credentials for a product. Using a GelEnz product could be part of a solution within a circular economy strategy.
